KAAT is shortlisted to transform Darülaceze Hospice
Jun 18, 2021
In 1895, Darülaceze, which was founded by Sultan II. Abdülhamit Han, has served a total of 72,000 people, 30,000 of whom are children, since its establishment. Darülaceze, which still hosts nearly 600 people without compromising its founding philosophy, is a unique charity in the world with its mosque, church and synagogue regardless of religion, language, race, gender and sect.
The campus of the institution that hosts the elderly in Istanbul is being renovated in Kayışdağı. KAAT is one of the four teams selected to replace the old existing buildings that have completed their economic life, with new contemporary, rational design that will meet today’s needs.
